Join us at Bethesda Academy, a Savannah cultural landmark founded in 1740 by the colorful Reverend George Whitefield, who was probably the most famous religious figure of the eighteenth century. He was a mesmerizing orator who collected support for his newly founded orphanage in Savannah by preaching throughout the colonies.
