THE ARTIST & THE TRUCK: "Balance" Opening

OPENING: A decades long friendship and mutual admiration began when Paul Brown, Joel Crowe, Edgar Sanchez Cumbas, James Graham, Ahmad Jackson, Patrick McKinnon, Kyunnie Shuman and Troy Wandzel worked in the Exhibitions Department at SCAD while also attending classes. From the early days as students to present day as working artists, they have collaborated on their own group show as The Artist and the Trunk, a direct reference to the exhibition truck they once shared. Each has their own approach to various mediums including painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media. Their new show "Balance" refers to each piece being compositionally balanced while also striking a balance as a whole show. Show opens April 8th from 6-8pm . Gallery profits are donated to World Central Kitchen to help feed Ukrainian refugees
