Award-winning pianist Liana Paniyeva will perform a virtuoso program of works of Chopin, Schumann, Schubert-Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Medtner, Kosenko, and Lysenko. She won The American Prize in Piano Performance (solo), 2021 (professional division). Fanfare Magazine hailed her as a pianist with “the right balance of effortless technique, poetry, and sustained mood,” who plays with “assured virtuosity.” She has performed at international festivals in Norway, Hungary, Austria, Canada, England, Italy, South Africa, and Israel. She graduated from the Donetsk Music Academy in Ukraine and earned her Professional Studies Certificate from the Manhattan School of Music in 2011. Reservations not required.
