The Henhouse Prowlers

Our next Pickin’ Parlor show will feature The Henhouse Prowlers in their first appearance on The Pickin’ Parlor stage. This band’s members are true bluegrass ambassadors to the world, having performed their unique style of bluegrass in more than 25 countries as part of the U.S. State Department’s cultural diplomacy program. They’re also known for their commitment to music education, holding countless workshops and concerts for school children and adults across the globe. On stage the group’s enthralling performances give audiences a sense of how much they love what they do, as the band manages to explore their collective and diverse life experiences through songwriting and intricate instrumentation. While bluegrass is the undeniable foundation of the Prowlers music, this award-winning band manages to bend and squeeze the traditional form into a sound all their own.
