And respected for his songwriting - he penned the title track for the Grammy-nominated Blind Boys of Alabama’s new album, adding to a long catalog of songs covered by Raitt, Gregg Allman, Bonnie Bramlett, Hot Tuna, Delbert McClinton and more.
