Timothy Short in the ON::View Residency

October 10th - November 3rd, 2023 ARTS Southeast is pleased to welcome Timothy Short to the ON::View Residency for the month of October. Joining us from Atlanta, Timothy seeks to "contribute to the long tradition of Black figurative artistry and painting by centering the lives of people close to him within his work." He will be working on two series of oil paintings and graphite drawings during his Residency, exemplifying "Blackness in the work...as a palpable energy source made tangible through everyday, interpersonal familial rituals.” Stop by Thurs - Sun, 12 - 5PM to visit during our open hours.
