Join UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant and Tybee Clean Beach Volunteers to clean up North Tybee Beach! Participants will meet at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center (37 Meddin Dr, Tybee Island, GA 31328) for a brief, but informative “Intro to Marine Debris” seminar before embarking on the cleanup journey. Trash that is collected will be identified and sorted.
Registered participants will be provided with buckets, pickers, and gloves. They will also receive their very own Trawl to Trash bag! All ages are welcome. Please dress appropriately for sand and sun. Don't forget sunscreen!
