Unity for Ukraine Event

G100 Savannah's Throwback Station, the Dive Savannah and the Habersham YMCA invite the Savannah community to a prayer event for local, deployed military working to help Ukranian refugees and to stand with the people of Ukraine. The prayer event takes place this Friday March 25th,7am at the Habersham YMCA Mason Field, at 6400 Habersham street.Clergy for the event includes Chatham County Commission Chairman Chester Ellis, YMCA of Coastal Georgia Head Pastor Herb Hubbard, Agape Empowerment Ministries, Kristy Crill of The Dive Savannah. In addition, Ukrainian representatives have been invited to discuss direct ways the Savannah community can help Ukranian refugees.This event is OPEN and FREE to the public. Parking is available around the Habersham YMCA. Event organizer Mia Mance, Director of G100 the Throwback Station, stated "The attacks upon Ukrainian people and the country of Ukraine are horrific and devastating. Our goal of this event is to unite our community in raising awareness about this human crisis and to show our support for those from our area who have been called into duty to protect Ukraine and defend freedom". G100 the Throwback Station, is a local radio station broadcast on 100.1FM, owned and operated by Dick Broadcasting Company.
