Women’s History Month lecture: Savannah’s Preservation Keepers: Women of the Movement from Mount Vernon to Today
Green-Meldrim House Executive Director Jamie Credle will speak on the women who have played roles in the historic preservation of the city and beyond. It is useful to remember how far Savannah has come saving one building at a time. Women have led the way - both in recognizing the importance of preserving evidence of our nation’s past and in working to keep them from slipping away.
