Youth: Art Fundamentals

In this four day twelve hour course, students will create drawings using a variety of dry mediums while studying directly from observation, capturing the proportion, form, and the play of light on the subject. Essential elements and principles of art and how they are used to create and evaluate two-dimensional art will be introduced, as well color theory techniques to further improve what the eye sees and what the hand draws. An excellent class for the young, serious art student. All projects suited for art portfolio building.
