Youth: Chalk Pastels Workshop

When: June 4-7, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. 2018

A 4-day pastels workshop, June 4-7 for youth aged 12 & up. Students will be introduced to basic chalk pastel techniques while learning how to draw a bird portrait from a photograph. Students are encouraged to bring in a photograph of their favorite feathery friend, however, extra photographs will be provided. After setting up a composition and color palette, students will learn to create texture, light and depth into their artwork. Beginners are welcome.
