Fresh off a hugely successful debut hosting the final day of the Savannah Music Festival, the renovated Kehoe Iron Works at Trustees' Garden will host the Southern Sojourn Fashion Show, a precursor of sorts toward a full-on revival of Savannah Fashion Week set for next year.
The meetings on the facility's alcohol license opened an old wound on City Council involving larger disagreements over how alcohol is regulated in Savannah.
“We’ll have many independent designers, from New York City and Savannah,” says designer Rosalie Stone Morris, who is spearheading the show, which she describes as a “mini-festival.”
“I hope that the Canyon Ranch Institute Life Enhancement Program will be an ongoing project in Savannah so that we live in a healthy, happier community,” Charles H. Morris says.
