Amalgam Returns Comic Art Show Closing Reception

Thanks to the students of SCAD professor Rashad Doucet, the Amalgam Age of Comics has returned! In 1996, DC and Marvel joined forces in one of the greatest "What If" scenarios in comics history. They forged a combined universe of stories and new "mash-up" characters like Dark Claw (Batman + Wolverine), Speed Demon (Flash + Ghost Rider) and Lobo the Duck (Lobo + Howard the Duck). This art exhibit is the result of a class project to revisit these characters with new costume designs, sample covers and interior pages. The art will come down immediately following the reception.
