Coastal Stewards Workshop: Sustainable Saltwater Fishing

During this two day workshop participants will develop recreational fishing skills through hands-on field activities, lectures and labs. Some of the activities include a fish ID lab, rigging tutorial, fishing by boat and a fish cleaning demonstration. Fisheries specialists will share ways that anglers can contribute to scientific monitoring of fish populations. This introductory workshop on sustainable inshore fishing is well suited for beginners as well as experienced anglers who are new to saltwater fishing.
