The program will consist of Celtic music from medieval times through the 18th century, and will be sung in Scots, Irish and English, accompanied by players of period instruments. The Goliards will be performing as a quartet, with Ashley Adams Roper (voice), Anne Acker (positive organ and hurdy gurdy), Anne Durant (harp) and John Hillenbrand (vielles and baroque violin). The program will contain some of the most ancient surviving Celtic music as well as songs and airs by Ireland's great composer, Turlough O'Carolan.
