Earth Day Clay Raku & Sit and Spin
Two simultaneous "try it" sessions: A hands-on studio on Raku, and a Clay Wheel studio session. Raku is the ancient Japanese ceramic firing technique in which 2000 degree glowing red hot works are removed from the kiln and placed into a fire chamber filled with combustibles. Pieces will be available for those who want to participate.
The clay wheel introductory workshop is designed for those who want to sit and spin a pot or bowl. Clay and tools provided.
