Plant Science Saturday

Designed for budding plant scientists of all ages, plant scientists will host discovery stations to inspire excitement and curiosity about plants and plant life. Attendees learn about the building blocks of plant behavior by dissecting a lima bean, discover what components plants need to survive while creating a seed cup necklace, help plant scientists solve the challenges of growing plants in space, and more! Attendees who visit all stations receive a Junior Plant Scientist completion certificate. Hosted by the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB), the event kicks off Plant Biology Week in Savannah.
